The Metro Chinese Weekly continues to prove successful within the communities by more than doubling its original size, growing to a total of 52 pages. In the past 10 months, the Metro Chinese Weekly received more recognition from the community and from the local businesses than any other Chinese newspaper company, which resulted to the rapid growth of the company and expansion of pages in the Metro Chinese Weekly.
Dan realizes how difficult it has been trying to bring a new publication on track, “Everybody in the company knows we have the most circulation and the biggest coverage area compared to any local competitor but it will take a long time for advertising clients to accept us as a legitimate venue for advertising, because we are new. “ He continues, “There are still many challenges lying ahead of us, but even with them, we have still doubled in size and will continue to grow. For the first time, clients called in to see if they could advertise in our paper, instead of the other way around. It is a very special moment for us, because we want to pick up more clients this way.” |
